Managing Air Quality in the Truckee Meadows

Webinar Information:

Live Session: March 11, 2022 at 10am PST. Recording to follow.

The Truckee Meadows has experienced tremendous growth over the last 50 years.  More people means more cars, more industries, and more air pollution.  Research is continuing to find that lower concentrations of air pollutants such as Ozone and Fine Particulate Matter are harmful to breathe. The EPA uses that research to strengthen federal air quality standards.  The Air Quality Management Division’s challenge is to ensure that our region can grow responsibly and continue to meet air quality standards.
